Natural Macadamia Oil

  • Use in place of other fats for frying, stir fries, dressings or baking ingredients.
  • Drizzle over salads, vegetable dishes, pasta or noodles.
  • Replace the butter in mashed potato (only a small amount required).

Rainforest Blend

  • A little bit goes a long way so use sparingly. Can be used anywhere you desire a lemon and ginger flavour. Flavour an Asian stir-fry. Massage a little on fish, chicken or pork ½ hour before cooking. It will add flavour and keep the meat moist.
  • Tuna Salad: 1 can tuna chunks (425g), 2 tbs mayonnaise, 2 tsp rainforest blend, ½ onion chopped, 3 tsp capers chopped. Mix together and serve.

Wild Pepper Blend

  • Goes particularly well in dishes with a delicate flavour.
  • Drizzle a little over plain pasta or noodles.
  • Replace the butter in mashed potato (only a small amount required).
  • Brush on potatoes before baking.
  • Saute´ mushrooms.
  • Mix a little with sour cream for a dressing.
  • Massage on steak ½ hour before cooking. Drizzle over a salad with a soft white vinegar.

"I love cooking with Herbs and Spices, and have my own Herb garden.

Recently while holidaying on the NSW coast, I picked up a 5 pack of Herbs and Spices of Oz Tukka brand.

I first used the ground 'Wattle Seed' by adding it into a scone mix, and loved the outcome. I then used it in pancakes, and anything chocolaty. It has now become one of my favorite spices!

I coated chicken in 'Bush Tomato' and 'Pepper leaf', and cooked it with garlic and chopped tomatoes. What a beautiful dish that was. Yum, such a unique flavour. The pepper leaf has just the right amount of heat - not too much.

It's lovely on steak; the bush tomato is too.

I do believe I might try the 'Lemon Myrtle' in a cheese cake soon, and on fish as a savory dish too.

Your Herbs and spices will become a regular addition to our pantry.
